There was a great turnout to Tuesday's (9th September) public meeting to discuss the plans to change the Post Office services in the village. Michael Moore MP was in attendance, and tried to shed light on some of the facts and figures that have been bandied around. Some excellent points were raised by the public, and Michael and Alec Nicol, who also attended, helped with advice on how to handle next week's meeting with Post Office, to which John Lamont MSP is also coming.

Special thanks must be given to Stevie Sudlow (Postmaster) and Vanessa Burke (Manager at the shop) for their candor in how events leading up to the announcement of the changes took place. We really appreciated it, both of you.
