MATTERS ARISING
·Website
www.morebattle.com/village is now up and running!Instructions on how to use the website can be emailed by Cllr McEwan or lessons can be given on how to use the website. There is no Internet connection in the Institute but the Chairman will investigate to see if it is possible to get free broadband like the school.
·Information Board
Cllr McEwan informed us that his graphic designer would be interested in helping with the board and could also help to design a leaflet for distribution.Cllr McEwan also has a few contacts for people who could write up the information for the board.Cllr Scott also knows a contact that may be able to help with a map for the board.Agreed that Cllr Scott and Cllr McEwan will work together to get the project moving – thanks to them both!
·School Playing Field
SBC have no objections to the proposed plans for the playing field.Gregor Walker is organising the plans for the playing field and also costing the turf.
·Projector
Mary Pringle has spoken to Dick Warren who agreed that the projector is not urgent and if the Institute committee agree, the projector could be applied for on their grant application. The Institute AGM is usually in February so may not be discussed until then.
·Trees at Morebattle’s Graveyard
Simon Wilkinson (Tree Officer at SBC) will do a site visit but no word as yet on a date.Cllr Cessford will continue to follow up.
·Bottle Banks
