Funding Applications Successful

The Kalewater Community and Morebattle Village are delighted to learn that the applications to the Scottish Land Fund through Big Lottery have been successful for the 2 ongoing projects in the village.

The Morebattle Community Shop Ltd will receive a sum of money from the Scottish Land Fund (Big Lottery) in order to purchase the shop facility and develop the project further, to ensure the shop remains active for the communities benefit.

The Kalewater Community Company will also receive a sum of money from Scottish Land Fund (Big Lottery) in order to purchase the field behind the Templehall and Village Hall, which will allow recreational facilities to be developed.

Considerable time and effort been made to get these projects to this point.  The next phases will present greater challenges and all support is welcome.
